I'm Amanda, the photographer behind Crown & Rose.
I make quiet, unhurried portraits across Charlotte and the surrounding towns — from Uptown and NoDa to Ballantyne, Matthews, and the light out by the lake. My favourite frames are the in-between ones: the exhale after the posing, the hand reaching for another hand, the last light going gold through the trees. How I work
A session with me is a slow hour, not a rushed checklist. We walk, we talk, we let the light do most of the work. I direct gently — a hand here, a turn of the shoulder there — and then I wait for the real moment to arrive on its own.
